Starpath · Reading a chart
The fourteen principal stars
Fourteen characters in two families. Their palace decides where each one shows up.
The fourteen principal stars carry most of a chart’s meaning. Six belong to the Zi Wei family: Zi Wei, Tian Ji, Tai Yang, Wu Qu, Tian Tong and Lian Zhen. Eight belong to the Tian Fu family: Tian Fu, Tai Yin, Tan Lang, Ju Men, Tian Xiang, Tian Liang, Qi Sha and Po Jun.
Each star is a character: the emperor, the strategist, the sun, the warrior, the harmonizer and the judge; the treasury, the moon, the wolf, the gate, the minister, the protector, the general and the army breaker. In the Career palace a star speaks about work; the same star in the Spouse palace speaks about love.
In the Stars tab you can meet each one: its gifts, its growth edge and how it reads in every area of life.

Zi Wei is placed first, from your bureau and lunar birth day. Tian Fu is always placed as a mirror image of Zi Wei, and each family follows its leader at fixed distances. That is why some stars so often appear together, such as Zi Wei with Tian Fu or with Tian Xiang.
